Hydration skin boosters

appointment Duration: 60 Minutes

Skin Boosters help to improve the overall quality of the skin including hydration, smoothness, and elasticity for a more youthful appearance, all from the inside out.

What are Hydration skin boosters?

Hydration skin boosters are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment designed to improve overall skin quality, deliver intense hydration, and stimulate collagen production to create smoothed and tightened skin. Skin boosters contain hyaluronic acid, yaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. As we age, our body struggles to produce a high enough amount, causing our skin to sag and wrinkles to appear. Hyaluronic acid is the best substance for skin boosters as one of its most beneficial factors is its ability to hold 1000 times its weight in water.

Skin beauty booster treatments can significantly boost hydration, improve skin smoothness by eliminating texture, restore skin elasticity, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Skin hydration injections can be used across the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, targeting a large skin area in one treatment. Hyaluronic acid skin boosters are ideal for individuals looking for complete total skin rejuvenation, quality improvement, and plump, hydrated skin, rather than restore volume to specific areas, which dermal fillers are designed to do. However, skin boosters can be used with dermal fillers, depending on your skin concerns and what outcomes you wish to accomplish.

Hydration Skin Booster Pricing at Aesthete Sunshine Coast

Pricing will depend on your customised treatment plan created by our expert clinicians at Aesthete Sunshine Coast. The extent of areas to be treated, as well as the number of sessions required to achieve your desired outcomes, will influence costs. Our skin booster treatments start at $300.

Procedure

Before undergoing treatment, a consultation with one of our experienced staff at Aesthetic Sunshine Coast is required to understand your skin type, concerns, and anticipated outcomes. This allows your clinician to develop a tailored treatment plan that targets your concerns, considering your health and the extent or number of treatments that may be needed.

The procedure can take 30-45 minutes, and a topical numbing cream will be applied 30minutes prior to minimise your discomfort. The treatment requires micro-injections of hyaluronic acid into the superficial layers of the skin roughly 1-2cm apart, which will be done either via syringe or cannula. This micro-needling technique triggers the body’s natural healing processes, stimulating collagen production to tighten and smooth the skin, whilst the injected hyaluronic acid formula provides structural, hydrating support.

Results can be seen immediately after your treatment, but it will take several weeks until your skin fully heals before significant results are noticeable. You will continue to notice an improved radiant and rejuvenated appearance as the hyaluronic acid and enhanced collagen production gradually build. Skin beauty booster results can last up to 12 months, depending on your lifestyle and how fast your body metabolises the skin hydration injections. To ensure optimal, long-lasting results, you may need a course of three treatments every three to four weeks, including a maintenance treatment once or twice a year.

Aftercare

Immediately following your treatment, you may experience mild swelling, bruising around the injection sites, and redness. You may have a puffy appearance or notice small bumps on the skin, but these symptoms, along with swelling, should lessen 48-72 hours post-treatment. However, bruises can take up to 10 days to fully heal.

Discomfort, swelling and bruising can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication and cold compresses. No makeup should be applied for at least 24 hours, and facial treatments such as lasers, peels, or massages should be avoided for at least two weeks. Saunas, steam rooms, hot spas, and direct, prolonged sun exposure also be avoided for a few days after your treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a skin booster good for skin?

Skin booster injections are highly effective in enhancing the skin’s overall quality and texture. The use of hyaluronic acid, as well as the micro-needling technique, significantly hydrates, plumps, and tightens the skin, restoring a rejuvenated, youthful appearance that radiates from within. Collagen and elastin production are increased in your skin and renew the skin’s hyaluronic acid levels.

How long do skin boosters last?

Skin booster injections can last between 6-12 months. Still, it will depend on the frequency of maintenance treatments, and dose used.  Your clinician will determine how to prolong your results and how quickly your body metabolises the skin hydration injections.

Am I a suitable candidate for hyaluronic acid skin boosters?

A skin beauty booster treatment is suitable for a wide variety of individuals with different skin types and concerns. However, a thorough consultation with one of our clinicians at Aesthete Sunshine Coast will help determine your suitability, as your concerns, skin type, and health is evaluated to design a treatment plan considering your desired outcomes.
